Context
A taxi company with over 20 years of history needed to modernize its customer service. Their existing system relied on an unofficial WhatsApp API, triggering Meta bans and risking the historic phone number known to all their clients.
The Challenge
Preventing the loss of their main sales channel. Migrating to the official API required building message-routing infrastructure from scratch and, the biggest challenge: making it coexist with their legacy control system written in Visual FoxPro.
The Solution
I developed a bridge web application connecting their legacy system with Meta's official API. To optimize service, I integrated an AI agent (Google Gemini) to handle initial requests. I implemented a smart state system that transfers the conversation to a human operator only when necessary.
