Context

Started as a route viewer proposal in San Cristobal, but evolved to solve a much more critical B2B need: automating public transport checkpoint control.

The Challenge

The manual physical signature system allowed fraud. Drivers bribed inspectors to alter arrival times, affecting others' income. Furthermore, reconciling these paper lists took weeks.

The Solution

I developed an administrative web platform that generates unique QRs per unit, and a mobile app for inspectors. Scanning the QR sends the exact time and location to the server in real-time, eliminating human manipulation.

Results

Schedule fraud was eliminated and the delay rate was drastically reduced. Information that previously took weeks to process is now instantly available on a cloud dashboard.
